About this site
Federal student loan repayment is a system most borrowers can navigate themselves — in theory. In practice, the 2025–2026 overhaul replaced the plans 40+ million people were on, added new deadlines with permanent consequences, and left servicers too overwhelmed to explain any of it. Student Repay Hub exists to close that gap: clear tools and guides that turn a confusing government system into an actionable plan.
How it works
Our calculators run entirely in your browser using the published rules for each federal plan — nothing you type is sent to us or stored. Our guides explain the rules in plain English with update dates on every page. When you're ready to act, we point you to the official, free process at StudentAid.gov.
What we will never do
- Ask for your FSA ID, password, or account access
- Apply for anything "on your behalf"
- Charge for access to any federal program — they're all free
- Cold-call or telemarket anyone, ever
- Claim we can get you forgiveness — no company can
How we make money
The tools and guides on this site are free and will stay free. We plan to offer an optional paid membership with deadline reminders, a saved strategy dashboard, and personalized policy alerts. If we ever include partner links (for example, refinancing lenders), they'll be clearly disclosed and only shown where they genuinely fit the strategy our tools compute — never as the default recommendation.
The fine print
Student Repay Hub is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Education or any loan servicer. Content and calculators are educational estimates, not financial, tax, or legal advice; your servicer's calculations control. For free help from the federal government, start at StudentAid.gov or the FSA Ombudsman.
